Luther's Story

Born and raised in the greater Nashville area, Luther has always been passionate about the art of lighting design. On one fateful day, Luther quit his day job and went onwards to pursue his dream to become a lighting designer. Now Luther is the proud owner and founder of Lumenate. This company aspires to brighten up peoples’ businesses, homes, and lives. Luther now lives happily in Brentwood, Tennesse with his wife Tamara and their four children Emily, Lola, Mia, and Case.

For me, creating beautiful lighting is an art.

I finally decided to leave my day job and pursue my passion for lighting full time. Giving everything I have to honing my craft was, and continues to be, one of the proudest and most fulfilling decisions I ever made.

Dick's Story

For 15 years, Dick worked in the Men’s formalwear industry in both operations and sales becoming an award winning leader in that industry. His career began in operations for large corporate companies before transitioning into working with smaller businesses in the mid 2000s. Dick grew up in Middle Tennessee and has called Nashville home for over 25 years. He lives in Brentwood with his wife Carrie and two sons.

Meredith's Story

Originally from Southern California, Meredith is a graduate of the University of Oregon and recently made the move to Nashville.

Outside of work, she enjoys reading, exploring her new city, and discovering new favorite spots around town.
